The Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre (PPvC) at the Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, is organizing a Webinar on Pharmacovigilance in Ayurveda on August 14, 2020, marking the launch of Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre (PPvC) online activities.
Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre at Amrita School of Ayurveda was established in March 2020 under the Ministry of AYUSH to monitor the safety of Ayurveda medicines and to report misleading advertisements in Ayurveda. PPvC at Amrita School of Ayurveda reports to the Regional Pharmacovigilance Centre at IPGTRA, Jamnagar, Gujarat. The centre is conducting awareness programmes to AYUSH doctors and other AYUSH health professionals.
The online activities of Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre at Amrita School of Ayurveda will be launched on August 14, 2020, at 10 am by Dr. Dinesh Katoch, Advisor, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and will be followed by lectures of Dr. Galib R., All India Institute of Ayurveda and Dr. Rabinarayan Acharya, IPGTRA, Jamnagar.
