With increasing concerns about climate change and unavoidable global energy demand, use of renewable energy sources (RES) has become a priority agenda for policy makers across the world. One of the key challenges for wider use the RES is their inherent intermittent nature which can be only be tackled with appropriate large scale energy storage technology. Redox flow battery (RFB) technology is one of such leading but yet to be matured technology. In this webinar, we will try to understand working principle of the RFB, their pros and cons, challenges, and research scope in the field.
