Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (Amrita WNA) and Amrita Centre for Research and Development (ACRD) will organize a Workshop on Modelling of Antennas using ANSYS HFSS on May 28, 2019.
This workshop focus on design of various types of antennas for wireless communication. It enables the students to open up the eyes towards the basic knowledge in various aspects of antenna design and its characteristics.
Session includes the fundamentals on antenna modelling, implementation using HFSS, performance analysis of various design parameters, overview on gain enhancement using meta materials, and design of antenna arrays.
The workshop will give you a glimpse into the nature of challenging work of practical societal relevance that goes at the research center. The Center has M. Tech. and Ph. D. programs in wireless and affiliated technologies in which the students get to work on many exciting inter-disciplinary system-level projects involving advanced hardware and software. Many of these funded projects are in collaboration with international institutions from around the globe and involve practical field deployments in the real world.
