Workshop on Sanskrit Grammar
The department of Basic Principle at Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri organized a two day workshop on Sanskrit Grammar for the first year students of undergraduate postgraduate programs from September 15-16, 2015.
The workshop started after the formal inauguration. Br. Shankara Chaithanya, Medical Director, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Dr. Vasudevan Nampoothiri, Principal, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Dr. Rammanohar, Director, Research & Developments, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Dr. Jaya Shankar Mund, HOD, Department of Basic Principle, Amrita School of Ayurveda and Dr. Rabinarayan Tripathi, Vice Principal, Amrita School of Ayurveda adorned the Dias.
The classes were run by Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, Aurabindo Ashram Pondichery. The topics covered included sandhi, samasa and kritanda pratyayas which are very important for the Ayurvedic learning. All the students attended the workshop. At the end of every session there were discussions. The students participated lively. The two day workshop concluded with a valedictory function. The students expressed the importance of the classes and the benefits they acquired out of the workshop. The feedback received from the students clearly sounded that the workshop was successful in its aim.
