A two day workshop on Web Designing and Photoshop was conducted by the ACM Student Chapter and ASCII from September 9-10, 2015. More than eighty students participated. A brief introductory talk about the ACM and ASCII club was delivered by ACM student chapter Faculty coordinator Bindu K. R. and ACM student chapter chair AkhilSai. The workshop on Photoshop on the first day was explained with the very basic tools on how to get started. Effective use of tools such as lasso, select, patch and move were discussed. This was followed by other useful tools such as layers, effects, texts, colour mixtures, curves and temperature tones. A hands- on- demo was depicted concurrently along with the explanations on how to edit a picture that was selected. After the demonstration of each tool and effects, the students had the same implemented on the systems. The additional extended product features of Adobe Photoshop cs6 were also mentioned. The workshop was conducted by DivyaTejapalli, Sarat Rahul, Uma Sindhu, Abhishek , Akshaya , Deepak Naidu. Around 81 students attended the workshop.
On the second day of workshop, web designing using a tool called Dreamweaver was conducted. Web designing can be done in many ways but the most efficient way of designing a web page is using Dreamweaver where in the advantage is that memorizing the source codes are not necessary, only mentioning is to learn the basic tools and working out on it.
