This workshop was supported by The Virtual Labs project sponsored by the National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT), Ministry of HRD. Virtual Labs project envisions making available computer simulated experiments to all engineering students in India via the internet. A student can access the labs from a computer terminal at his college that has a broadband internet connection. No additional infrastructural setup is required.
Inter –Campus Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship was conducted by Department of Commerce and Management on December 30-31, 2011 .The workshop co-coordinator was Bri. Jisha , Assistant professor. There were 15 registrants in the workshop. Faculties from various campus participated in the two day workshop on Inter –Campus Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship.

The Second International Conference on Simulation Modeling and Analysis, COSMA 2011, was hosted at the Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore during December 17-19.
