The department of Dravyaguna, Amrita School of Ayurveda, conducted an awareness class on Conservation of Medicinal Plants & distribution of karinochi seedlings (Karinochi project) on October 17, 2014. Around 500 seedlings were distributed in the Kulasekharapuram panchayath.

The CSI Student Branch and IETE Student Branch of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus organized a one day workshop on Basic Electronics- A Practical Approach for School Students on 15th October, 2014. Around 60 students (plus two) and 5 teachers of of Government Higher Secondary School, Pichanoor, Coimbatore participated in the workshop.
