ANOKHA 2012 is the annual technical festival held in and by Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus from February 16 to 18, 2012. The objective of ANOKHA is to provide a platform for the best minds in the country to showcase their talent and ingenuity. It aims at motivating students from different disciplines to come together and share the mutual enthusiasm & love in science, technology.
Amritapuri campus conducted a national level multi fest titled ‘Vidyut 2012’ between 1-3 February, 2012.
The Central Library at the Amritapuri campus hosted a one-day regional workshop on Delnet Resources, Services and Facilities. At Amrita, students are provided access to world-class resources and infrastructure. Amrita also actively supports efforts to bring these resources with easy reach of all students in India.
TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security organized a two-day colloquium on Information Systems Security from January 22-23, 2012.
The Third Annual Indian Global Psychiatric Initiative (IGPI 2012) was convened at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences during January 17 – 18. Organized jointly with two Psychiatry Associations, viz. Indo-Australian and Indo-New Zealand, the conference discussed latest treatment modalities and research studies in areas related to mental health care.
The Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore organized a Seminar on “Embedded System Design from January 11 - 12, 2012.
A two day workshop on Creative Writing by Dr. Vibha Vasi was held from January 6-7, 2012.
IEEE International Conference on Technology Enhanced Education (ICTEE 2012), held at the Amritapuri, Kerala, India, from January 3-5, 2012. ICTEE 2012 mission is to provide an effective and established international forum for discussion and dissemination of recent advances and innovations in use of technology in education at both higher education and K-12 levels.
Inter –Campus Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship was conducted by Department of Commerce and Management on December 30-31, 2011 .The workshop co-coordinator was Bri. Jisha , Assistant professor. There were 15 registrants in the workshop. Faculties from various campus participated in the two day workshop on Inter –Campus Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship.
