International Conference on Smart and Intelligent Systems– ICSIS 2023

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita), established in 2003 under section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956, is a multi-disciplinary Deemed to be University that offers more than 180 Academic Programs, through 10 Departments across 6 Campuses in three South Indian states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The renowned humanitarian leader, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, popularly known as Amma, is the Chancellor and guiding light of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Spread over 900 acres with eight million square feet built-up space, Amrita is one of India’s top-ranked private Institutions and has been selected for the prestigious award of Institution of Eminence (IoE) status by MHRD. Amrita has been accredited with “A++” the highest grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Amrita School of Engineering – Chennai

Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai is one among the four flourishing campuses under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, offering Multi-disciplinary B.Tech programs in various streams. Amrita School of Engineering focuses on technical and moral excellence of each student by providing both education for life and livelihood under the exemplary vision of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.

The Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Chennai is about 40 KMs away from Chennai, 90 KMs away from Tirupati, on the State Highway SH50A, a village named Vengal has become the place where the future of the Country is being moulded.

Department CSE & EECE

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai offers three under graduate courses – B. Tech. Computer Science and Engineering, B. Tech Artificial Intelligence and B. Tech Cyber security. The department also offers Ph.D. programs in thrust areas. The department has attracted the best engineering aspirants and research scholars across the country. As the nature of Computer Science and Engineering has a never-ending cycle of innovation rooted in it, our focus is on increasing the standard of the teaching and learning to gain international importance in research and academics. Looking at the global perspective the department has identified a few thrust areas for research and development: Computer Vision, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Bioinformatics.

Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering is offering technology-oriented courses and creating manpower in the strategic areas well compatible with the industrial expectations. The main vision of the department is to mould tomorrow’s technocrats by imbibing the essence of human values for innovation and creativity in science and technology towards building a peaceful self-sustaining Nation. Further, the Department endeavors to set high standards in teaching and learning for facilitting a bright career path for the students and to establish state-of-the-art center for excellence in thrust areas of research. The research activities of the department encompasses the wide spectrum of areas including, Electronics circuits, Signal processing, Communication Technology, Biomedical signal & Image processing, Computer vision, Network security, VLSI and other applied areas focusing towards making brighter career path. The department has been strengthened by its reputed faculty members with Ph.D degree from internationally recognized Universities and organizations. Research is the prime focus for the faculty and students who put in their efforts to produce tangible outcomes in the form of publications, patents and funded projects. Students are given broad opportunities for relevant skill development apart from regular academics in order to make them competitive and industry ready.


ICSIS 2022 aims to lay a platform where eminent researchers from various domains of AI can indulge in cross-domain discussions for social and professional welfare. Conference Proceedings & Journal Publications

All the submitted papers will be peer reviewed by competent reviewers and the proceedings will be published in Scopus indexed database. Extended version of the selective articles will be considered for publication in WoS/SCI/Scopus indexed journals at an additional publication cost as will be decided by the publisher.

It is situated away from the Periyapalayathamman Temple, on the State Highway SH50A, a village named Vengal, Thiruvallur district, Tamilnadu, India. Participants will be required to make their own travel arrangements.
