The Annual two day fest for UG students was organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Mysore at its campus in Bogadi on 5th & 6th of April 2013.
The fest which aimed at providing a learning platform for vital managerial and technical skills beyond academics, recorded more than 200 participants registration from prestigious institutions in Mysore.

The 29th National Student Convention (NSC) of Computer Society of India (CSI) was held at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore from 15-16 March, 2013. The Center for Computational Engineering and Networking, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore organized a two day workshop on “Sparse Image & Signal Processing (SISP -2013)" on June 3 - 4, 2013. The workshop mainly focused on applications of Linear Algebra in Signal and Image Processing, Basics of l1-optimization, Compressed Sensing , Hidden Markov Model(HMM) and Conditional Random Fields.
The Department of Commerce and Management at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, organized two day national conference on Banking innovations – Impact on Indian Economy Innovation in Banking For Future Growth, during March 3rd and 4th, 2013. The workshop was organized in association with Dhanlakshmi Bank.
VIDYUT 2013, the national fest has 150 colleges from all over India participating actively boasting of more than 4000 registrations. The inauguration ceremony is held at Amrita by Dr. Shivathanu Pillai, Chief Controller, R&D, CEO, DRDO, Brahmos Aerospace.
