The Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi organized a two-day national conference onSecurity Monitoring during February 15-16, 2013 in collaboration with the Computer Society of India.
The two-day conference focused on Continuous Security Monitoring as a risk management process facilitated by people and technology to ensure overall ecosystem health, integrity and quality of service.
The inauguration of the two day National Level Asthra B-FEST, organized by Amrita School of Business, Kochi, was held on 7th January 2013, Monday at 10:00am, presided by Swami Amritakripanandapuri; Honorable Speaker of Legislative Assembly Shri. Electronics Communication and Instrumentation forum (ECIF), the departmental forum for ECE and EIE, School of Engineering, Bengaluru Campus organized a two day Simulation Software Workshop on February 3, 4, 2016.
National festival is also given equal impetus in the campus. Students and staff had gathered to hoist the National tri-colour. Prof. Susheela Sheshadri was the Chief Guest and hoisted the National tri-colour. The Chief Guest pointed at the importance of the role of youth in the present day and their responsibility in building a "strong India".
AmritaCREATE conducted a training programme for secondary science teachers on the significance of Online Labs at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on 21 January 2013. 17 science teachers from the nearby schools of Bhubaneswar attended the programme. Prof Raghu Raman, Rathnam Arun and K.S. Sudheer represented AmritaCREATE at the event.
As part of Vidyut 2013, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering organized a Pre-Vidyut Robotics Workshop, Basics Robotics- Level 1 from 19-20 January 2013.
