The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi, initiated a Research Methodology Workshop from May 29, 2018, to August 31, 2018, with the core objective to equip the new batch of postgraduate students with set of skills and potentiality to undertake the research very effectively in the field of dentistry and to turn completed research into publishable material of high quality in the form of articles, journals and books. Twenty-one postgraduates participated in the program.
This workshop was designed to offer practical guidelines and direct the researchers through all the stages of research from identifying a research problem to the submission of a dissertation, report writing and research article. The course was designed to deal with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods used in dental research. It also gave exposure to data analysis with the help of software packages. The workshop consisted of both theory and practical.

The soft copies of the presentations were mailed to the participants. The certificates were presented to the participants by the esteemed dignitaries.
