Asha Sundaresh currently serves as Junior Research Fellow at the Amrita School of Biotechnology, Amritapuri. She has completed M.Sc. in Microbiology from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Amritapuri Campus in 2016.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

  • Six months project on “DNA ORIGAMI – Folding of the double stranded DNA vector (pCDH–CMV–MCS EF1–puro) into a predefined shape using 18, 20mer staples” with Mr.Ajith Madhavan at Amrita School of Biotechnology, Kollam.
  • Six months project on "Localization of small GTPases Arl14 and Arl15 in mammalian cells" with Dr.G.Subba Rao, Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
     

ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECT:

  • "Application of bacteriophages to kill enteric pathogens in sewage water and immobilization of charcoal with phage lysate"
    Funded by DBT-BIRAC-BMGF (Govt. of India-Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation).
