Mr. Athul Shaji works as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri Campus since July, 2015. In the past he had worked as a Project Associate in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at IISc. There his mentor was Dr. Dipanjan Gope, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IISc, Bangalore. He was involved in an industrial project (for Altium) that involved the development of a simulation tool for Power Integrity (PI) analysis. In August 2015 Mr. Athul Shaji got selected for the prestigious Visvesaraya Scholarship for Part-Time candidates from Department of Electronics and information Technology (DietY), Govt. of India. He is passionate about science and continuously strive to understand the Nature with the aid of common sense and mathematical tools.


  • Pursuing Ph. D. in Computational Imaging under the direction Dr.Rakhesh Kumar, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from 2015 onwards 
  • M. Tech. in Microwave and Radar Electronics from the Department of Electronics, CUSAT with First Class and Distinction in the year 2009.
