Bio

Dileep is a part time PhD scholar at ASB Coimbatore. He currently serves as Visiting Faculty at the School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. He has more than 10 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services with expertise in Retail Banking.

His area of research is Finance and Banking. He currently works on Financial Inclusion, Financial Access, Impact of Voluntary Disclosures by Banks and Efficiency of Banks.

He has been recognized with several awards and accolades for business excellence during his corporate tenure. He started his career in the Consumer Finance Business of Citi Group where he handled  the Sales Finance business for South Kerala. He next joined Fullerton India, a subsidiary of Temasak Holdings, as the Branch Manager being part of the team that launched the business in Kerala.  In 2009, he joined Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd as Senior Branch Manager. From there, he moved on to HDFC Bank for setting up a new branch in Cochin Cluster, Kerala. His last assignment in the corporate sector was with Indusind Bank Ltd as Chief Manager in Retail Banking.

He next entered the academic sector by working briefly for the DC School of Management and Technology as Assistant Professor in the Finance Department of the school before joining the Amrita School of Business as Faculty Associate. He is presently pursuing the PhD degree at the Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore.

Dileep Menon is rank holder in the BBM program from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, securing the first rank in the program. He holds the IRDA and NISM professional certifications in the field of Finance. He pursued PGDM from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the year 2004.
