Bio

Dr. T Sakthi Nagaraj is an Assistant Professor at the esteemed School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore. With a distinguished educational background, Dr. Sakthi holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the esteemed Department of Production Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, with the MHRD scholarship.

Following his master’s, Dr. Sakthi served as an Industrial Engineer at Jay Jay Mills Lanka Pvt Ltd in Sri Lanka for two years. During this time, he led process improvements using Human Factors, Ergonomics, Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics. His initiatives included implementing the Rabbit chase method, significantly reducing waste in the garment industry.

For the past nine years, Dr. Sakthi has been actively involved in teaching, conducting research, coaching, and consulting, showcasing expertise garnered from international industrial exposure. His contributions span a spectrum of domains, including Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma, Socio-technical Approaches, Design Thinking, Data Analytics, Total Quality Management, Innovative Problem-Solving Techniques, Human-Centered Design Approaches, and Ergonomic Interventions.

His scholarly work is recognized globally, evident through his publications in renowned international journals, leading conference proceedings, and book chapters. Dr. Sakthi has successfully secured funded projects from central government agencies in India, further highlighting his commitment to pioneering research and academic excellence.

Moreover, Dr. Sakthi is an active member of esteemed professional bodies such as The Institution of Engineers (India) and the Indian Society of Ergonomics. His multifaceted expertise, coupled with a dedication to academic and industrial advancement, defines his impactful contributions to the field.
