Bio

Dr. M. Ranjith Kumar currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Sr Gr.) in the Department of Mathematics, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus, India.

Dr. M. Ranjith Kumar completed his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from C. Abdul Hakeem College, Vellore (2005), M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras (RIASM), Chennai (2007), and M.Phil. Degree in Mathematics from Madras Christian College, Chennai (2008). He also passed the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) for Lectureship (2016). He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (2019). His research mainly focuses on Harmonic Analysis, Algebraic Number Theory, Cryptography and Image Processing.

He has over 12 years of experience in the field of teaching and 7 years of experience in research. He has published 12 research articles in various reputed national and international journals. He has organized many symposia, workshops, orientation programmes as convener/coordinator. He is a life-member of the Cryptographic Research Society of India
