Dr. M. G. Priya, joined Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on 1st July 2005 and has been teaching English Language and Literature for the UG as well as PG programs. She completed her PG from Calicut University, Kerala and is presently pursuing Ph. D. from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham under the guidance of Dr. Harini Jayaraman. Her topic of research is “The Concept of Divine Love in select poems of Tagore and Kabir”. Her areas of interest include – Indian Writing in English, Bhakti Literature and Spiritual Writing. She is also the dept. level co-ordinator for the Amrita newsletter Amritarpan and the Hindi language editor for the college magazine, AmritaDhwani. 

She has a teaching experience of 11 years.
