Dr. M. G. Priya, joined Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on 1st July 2005 and has been teaching English Language and Literature for the UG as well as PG Programmes. She completed her PG from Calicut University, Kerala and Ph. D. from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Her topic of research was “The Concept of Divine Love in select poems of Tagore and Kabir”. Her areas of interest include – Indian Writing in English, Poetry, Bhakti Literature and Spiritual Literature. She is also the dept. level co-ordinator for the Amrita newsletter Amritarpan and the Hindi language editor for the college magazine, Amrita Dhwani.

She has a teaching experience of 13 years.
