Dr. Sachin Gupta, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He completed his MBBS and MD Dermatology from AIIMS, New Delhi, followed by DNB Dermatology.
His clinical areas of interest include atopic dermatitis, pediatric dermatology, dermatophytosis, hair and scalp disorders, vitiligo surgery, dermoscopy, and aesthetic dermatology. He has undergone advanced training in hair transplantation, lasers, and aesthetic dermatology, including FUE Asia workshops and IADVL-supported observerships.
Dr. Gupta is actively involved in major research initiatives and currently serves as investigator/co-investigator on multiple funded projects, including an ICMR-supported implementation research study on leprosy, an IADVL-funded randomized controlled trial using an AI-enhanced mobile application for atopic dermatitis, and Phase 3 biologics trials in atopic dermatitis with international industry partners. He also collaborates with the Amrita School of AI on digital dermatology projects, including image-based AI tools and patient-centric digital platforms.
He has authored papers in reputed journals such as JAAD, IJDVL, Pediatric Dermatology, Indian Dermatology Online Journal, and NeoReviews, and has contributed to dermatology book chapters published by Jaypee Brothers and Thieme. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences including the World Congress of Dermatology, Dermacon, Cuticon, and the FUE Global Congress, where he has also been invited as a Young Turks Speaker and award scholar.
Dr. Gupta is committed to building a strong academic environment in dermatology at Amrita, with a focus on evidence-based practice, digital innovation, procedural dermatology, advanced hair-transplant techniques, and compassionate patient care.
