Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram, DEAN, AMRITA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, a doctorate from MIT inaugurated the conference. Dr. Paul Davis, a doctorate from Deakin University, Melbourne, presented the gatherings on historiographic meta-analysis of performance measures. Followed this Dr. David Ford, Professor of Organizational Studies, Strategy and International Management at the University of Dallas and a doctorate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, presented his views on effectiveness of a leader across various organizational roles. Foremost among the Amrita faculty, Dean Gurumurthy Kalyanaram, spoke about asymmetric market reactions to product announcements.
Dr. Devanath Tirupati, Chairperson, Center for Supply Chain Management at IIM-Bangalore discussed Product/Service Positioning and Portfolios for Supply Chain Management. There was a presentation on Supply Chain Maturity by Dr. N. Vivek, PSG College of Technology. Amrita Professors including Dr. R. G. Priyadarshini, Dr. Vivek Menon was also presented on the topics TQM implementation issues among Small and Medium Enterprises and Recent Trends in Information Technology respectively.
