On the second day, the session started with a plenary talk on "Tr4anslational Cancer Nanomedicine: From diagnostic imaging to targeted therapies" by Dr. K. Manzoor. He also spoke about the war against cancer being fought with nanoparticles.
DR SANJEEB K SAHOO, Institute of Life Science, India delivered a talk about Application of Nanomedicine As an Emerging Platform for Cancer Therapy and Diagnostic.DR RAO PAPINENI, Carestream, USA also made a talk. His tpic was entitled Non Invasive Functional Molecular Imaging of Mouse Cancer Models.
Students presented some 200 posters in regenerative nano medicine and nanoengineering, cancer nanotechnology, nanosystems engineering for rational drug delivery, molecular medicine, molecular diagnostics, nanobiometerials and nanotoxicology.
After the poster session, DR JOEL D. BUMGARDENER,University of Memphis, USA, delivered the keynote address was entitled Local Drug Delivery Strategies to Treat Musculoskeletal Infections and DR CHANG SU CHO, Seoul National University, South Korea, talk about DNA and siRNA Delivery Using Degradable Poly (amino ester)s in vitro and in vivo.
The invited speakers include DR. PEDRO L GRANJA ,University of Porto, Portugal, DR.IN-KYU PARK, Chonnam Medical School, South Korea and DR R. JAYAKUMAR , ACNSMM, India.They addressed the delegates at the conference.
