Amrita Center for International Programs is pleased to announce the summer internship program at University of Twente, Netherlands - CuriousU 2017. The University was founded in 1961 as the Technische Hogeschool Twente. The campus is located on the former country estate of Drienerlo, in extensive woodland, near Enschede in the Netherlands, and contains state-of- the-art research and educational facilities. 

The CuriousU experience is a one-of-a-kind combination of a summer school and a festival. The summer school package includes academic courses, music, sports, theater, inspirational speakers etc.

Program Dates: 13 - 22 August 2017


  • Bachelor’s students in their second to last or last year, and entry-level Master’s students.
  • English language test is not mandatory. But the candidates are expected to have a good command of the English language (IELTS 6.0, B2, TOEFL 550 or equivalent) 

Fee: € 555 which includes: 

  •  A stay at the inspirational campus of the University of Twente. For those not comfortable sleeping in a tent for a week, they offer different accommodations for additional costs. 
  •  Course participation
  • Course materials
  • A tent to sleep in (included: air mattress, flashlight, pillow and sleeping bag)
  • WiFi
  • Food (breakfast, lunch and evening meal)
  • Coffee/tea
  • Free entry to the UT Sport Centre

Not included in the fee are personal expenses like travel costs (plane ticket, train ticket, etc.), travel insurance and other expenses, as well as accommodation other than a tent.
