Manuscript Conservation Centre (MCC), Amrita Darshanam - International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Assistant Conservator.

Qualification & Experience:  

  • Graduation with Science Chemistry/ Graduation with Fine Arts or relevant subject to conservation
  • Training in the Conservation of manuscripts/ art objects from a reputed institution of National level with a period not less than 6 months
  • 2 years’ experience of conservation of manuscripts in a museum or any reputed institution

Work Duties:

  • To assist and participate in all manuscript conservation activities
  • To follow instructions of project coordinator and conservator


  • 12,000/- per month

Campus: Amritapuri (Kollam, Kerala)

Pay Scale: As per the guidelines of the National Mission for Manuscripts guidelines
