JRF in Nanoelectronics @Amrita School of Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine(ASNSMM)

Amrita School of Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine (ASNSMM) is seeking Junior Research Fellow to work in nanoelectronics facility to develop high-efficiency perovskite based thin-film solar cells; and understand the effective role of electron and hole transport layers in solar cell operation. The candidate should have hands on familiarity with electronic transport measurements (IV, Hall-effect and CV measurements), nanofabrication, material synthesis and characterization techniques.

Qualification Potential candidates should have postgraduate degree M. Sc /M. Tech in physics/materials science/nanoscience with a sound background knowledge on solar cells, device physics, solid state physics, thin film and vacuum technologies
Other Desirable Qualifications

  • Experimental hands-on training with thin film preparation techniques and device fabrication methods
  • Experience in wet chemistry for nanomaterial synthesis; and spectroscopic characterization techniques
  • Experience in LabVIEW and MATLAB programming
  • Knowledge on computational and modelling methods to analyse structure-property relationship of materials (not mandatory)
  • Valid Net/Gate score/CSIR-JRF will be given preference
Salary and benefits  As per institutional norms
Project duration 1 year (can be extended to a maximum of 3 years based on performance)
