The Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (Amrita WNA) is a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary Center for teaching and research at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam campus. Launched in 2006, Amrita WNA began as a R&D Center with the vision of promoting, developing, and applying the use of wireless technologies in a variety of fields that would benefit society. The Center is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of PCB Design Engineer.

| Job Description | We are looking for candidates with PCB Design Expertise to help design Boards for various applications. The candidate should be familiar with creating schematics and layouts for the boards using Board design tools like Proteus, KiCAD or other standard tools. The job involves designing PCBs for different applications in various research areas like biomedical devices, landslide detection devices, etc. In addition, the candidate will also be involved in debugging and deploying the boards at different sites. |

| Qualifications | . Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent subject. . Minimum 2 years of Board Design Experience . Experience in working within a technical team of Software, Hardware, and Control engineers. |
| Responsibilities | . Specify, design and document PCBs to meet specific application requirements. . Specify, design, document, and maintain; analogue & digital signal processing boards, power supply units, digital/analogue/wireless communication boards etc. . Verification, validation, testing of the PCBs . Development and maintenance of new and existing PCB designs.- . Design of PCB layout . Working with potential manufacturers. . Prototype production and initial testing. |
