Applications are invited for the positions available in School of Biotechnology, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, for engaging two Senior Research Fellows to work on a computational neuroscience R&D project in the field of cerebellar physiology modeling. The posts are purely on contract; initially for a period of 6 months, and after evaluations will be extendable until January 2022 or co-terminus with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of the project. The selected candidates will be evaluated on year to year basis and extension will be granted only on satisfactory progress/performance after each year.
Duration: 3 (Three) Years (or up to termination of the project)
Essential Qualifications: M.Tech or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or equivalent with at least 60% marks. Candidates with knowledge of detailed biophysical modeling for computational neuroscience and modeling in population activity and systems theory is essential.
Emoluments: As per DST, Govt. of India rules.
