Dr. Shriram K. Vasudevan, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus, has been nominated as an Intel Internet of Things (IoT) Innovator.

The IoT track of the Intel® Software Innovator program is actively recruiting A-list developers to share their talents and vision, and in the process help nurture and inspire an up-and-coming generation of IoT developers in the local community and expand it to global needs. In return, Intel provides professional exposure, on-site or virtual hands-on training by Intel engineers and IoT resources & licenses of Intel tools for projects in IoT development at Amrita mentored by the innovator. Earlier, Dr. Shriram K. V. had mentored student teams from Amrita, who secured top honors in Cisco Ideate Digital India Challenge, GE Digital Industrial IoT Hackathon and Deloitte Innovation award in Smart India 2017 hackathon.
