Br. Sivanandan, Assistant Professor, Amrita Darshanam - International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amritapuri, and Mr. Amritesh. A. R., The Directorate of Corporate & Industry Relations (CIR), Amritapuri, secured research fellowships in the Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship program, held at Delhi, on April 28, 2018.

Br. Sivanandan's research was on the topic ,"A Survey of Kerala School of Astronomy and Mathematics", while Mr. Amritesh did a study and contributed on the topic, "A Study and Documentation of Special Features of Sacred Grooves, the Traditions and Rituals Associated, Threats Faced by them and Methods of Conservation".

The Sahapedia-UNESCO Fellowship is one way in which the Centre supports research on the diverse fields of arts and cultures of India, on both well-known and comparatively lesser known forms and expressions. It encourages both young scholars and field practitioners alike to engage with their areas of interest.

Early this year, Mr. Sooraj S., Amrita Multi Modal Applications Using Computer & Human Interaction (AMMACHI Labs), and Sooraj, Amrita Technologies, presented papers titled, "Pluralism and Co-existence in Dharma Tradition" and "Purvapaksha on Christianity - A Study based on Sri Vidhyaadiraja Chattambi Swami's Kristhumatha Chethanam". respectively at the Dharma Dhamma International conference held at Nalanda University January 11-13, 2018.

They are members of AYUDH's (Amrita Yuva Dharma Dhara) discussion group. The discussion wing of AYUDH has been active for last 4 years. The participants present, discuss and debate various relevant issues happening around the world. Some of the topics appeared as blogs and articles in magazines.
