All over the world, tremendous progress is being made in the understanding of cancer and how to manage the disease. The new Amrita Center for Nanotechnology on the health care campus, for instance, has developed ways to target cancerous cells at nano-levels. Frontiers in Oncology — this was the theme of Oncocon 2009. Over 20 internationally renowned experts of various cancers from North America, Europe and Asia also participated.
