The eventful day dawned with lighting of the lamp led by the Chairperson of Amritadhara, the students’ activities council, followed by an invocation song.  The atmosphere was drenched with excitement and vibrant with seniors encouraging the freshers to participate in every possible event to exhibit their talents. Fun filled events such as music, dance, drama, quiz, treasure hunt and laser tag attracted a large number of participants. The group activities also projected the co-ordination among the first year students who in a fortnight’s time could conceive their own team and quickly stage wonderful performances. Students in great numbers participated in sports events like cricket, football, chess, badminton, etc. The most awaited and flagship event, The Icon, waswon by Raunaq Kamra of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
