Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to collaborate with World No. 3 ranked Oxford University

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by the Chancellor Master and Scholars of the University of Oxford acting for its Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology and by Dr. Bipin Nair, the Dean of Amrita School of Biotechnology, for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on January 12th, 2015. 

Chancellor Amma calls on Prime Minister Modi

Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi today called on the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his residence and blessed him. Sri Mata Amritanandamayi showed keen interest in Namami Gange. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to her for her great contribution to the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and requested her to initiate a toilet construction project in the villages of five states of Ganga river basin, to which she agreed. 

Amrita Academic and Student Initiatives Lauded at Infosys Principals Meet

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's academic and student initiatives, such as industry electives and ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia Pacific Regional contest, were showcased by the Infosys Campus Connect leadership as pioneering initiatives in industry-institute interaction at the Infosys Principals Meet on March 13, 2015. 

2009 Batch Medical Students Graduate

The graduation ceremony of the 8th batch (2009 admission) MBBS students was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on March 10, 2015. The function was inaugurated by Public Service Commission Chairman Sri. K. S. Radhakrishnan.

Amrita School of Dentistry Students win Highest Grades in the 14th ISP National PG Convention, Navi Mumbai

At the 14th ISP National PG Convention held at D. Y. Patil School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai from March 13-15, 2015, postgraduate trainees from the Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry won the first and second highest scores in the scientific paper / poster presentation session, from among a total of 400 papers and 120 posters presented by postgraduates from various dental colleges in India
