Kerala Piravi was observed at School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, October 31, 2015 at Brahmasthanam auditorium. 

Dr .U. Krishnakumar, Director, welcomed the audience. The guest of honour was renowned Scholar and winner of Amrita Keerthi Puraskaram Prof. Thuravoor Vishwambaran. The function started with Sopanamsangeetham by Sri. Edappally K. S. Salimkumar and Ravipuram Jayan Warrier. Brahmacharini Bhakthipriyamrita Chaithanya, Principal, Amrita Vidyalayam, gave the Anugraha Prabhashanam. ChakyarKoothu was performed by Kalamandalam Jishnu Pratap and Nepathya Jinesh. There was special dance performance by Adivasis from Pooyamkutty. Sri. N. P. Ratheesh , Asst. Librarian, was hounoured on the same occasion for qualifying National Eligibility Test in his domain. The celebration concluded with vote of thanks propsed by Sri. Chandran Perumudiyoor, Lecturer in Malayalam, Department of English and Languages.
