Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Associate Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, has been conferred the Padma Vibhushan Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi Teachers Award 2025 at 8th FWA Annual Industry Academia Conclave 2025 held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi on 31 October 2025. This prestigious award was conferred by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Former Union Education Minister of India to 50+ academicians and academic administrators in 3 categories for their outstanding contributions to education. This award is instituted by the publication, Education Post News (EPN) and its academic wing, Federation of World Academics (FWA). Various distinguished awardees included Chancellor of VIT University, Directors of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur & Patna and Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi.
