PhD Program in Ayurveda has been launched at Amrita School of Ayurveda. Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda (ACARA) is overseeing the PhD program. Ten PhD Scholars have been registered in the first batch in January 2016. The next batch will be registered in June 2016. Presently the PhD Program is open to faculty members of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. In the near future, applications will be invited for candidates who are not affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
