Amrita University announced some major advancements it has made in science and technology, for the benefit of mankind, at the United Nations Academic Impact/Amrita University Conference on Technology for Sustainable Development, New York. The University presented its recent giant strides in areas such as nanotechnology (employed in health and medicine, clean water and energy storage), haptics and robotics (in education), sensors and wireless communication (in disaster management) and traditional medicine (with focus on curing certain rampantly-spreading diseases).
