Speaking to the media on the issue, experts in paediatric endocrinology, Zeev Hochber from Israel and G. Jean Claude Karel from Paris, who were in the city as part of a workshop in Paediatric Endocrinology at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi, said that apart from thyroid problems that manage to get medical attention, a lot of disorders of pubertal development and growth get little medical attention.
