The 4+1 program provides students a platform to complete their bachelors and masters degrees in just 5 years. Under the Integrated Masters Program (also called the University of New Mexico Global Engineering Scholars Program), students can complete their four year B.Tech program at Amrita and then complete their one year Master of Science degree at the University of New Mexico (UNM), U.S.A. Students will subsequently be awarded a B.Tech from Amrita and an M.S. from UNM. During the Masters program, students can specialize in the following areas: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Construction, Computer Science, Biological, Nuclear, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering. 

All final year B.Tech students are eligible to apply.
