The total duration of the fellowship is 24 months where the first 12 months are at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, whilst the subsequent 12 months are at The Walton Centre, UK after which the next suitable candidate takes over as a baton-exchange system. An Excellent opportunity for the fellows and doctors trained at Amrita Hospital- Faridabad, to undergo a 1 year fellowship at The Walton Centre, Liverpool , which is amongst the largest neurocritical care units in the United Kingdom. This would bring together two dynamic and large neurosciences units from across international boundaries, whose common aim is to enhance patient care through dedicated training in neuroanaesthesia and critical care. This post is approved by The Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Mersey Deanery. This is a Medical Training Initiative post which is exempt from PLAB but does require the candidate to have registration and a license to practice with the General Medical Council, UK. This post is also subject to approval of both occupational health screening and immigration clearance of the proposed candidate. The post is being successfully run since 2017. Fellows will be paid stipend during their one year training period in India and there is no fees for this program
