Abstract:

In this paper an analysis of resonant frequency of electrically thin and thick rectangular patch antenna analysis is done using emotional back propagation network by providing inputs, which are length of the patch, width of the patch, height of the patch and relative permittivity. The analysis can be used in reducing a significant bottleneck like low computational speed in the electromagnetic method of microstrip analysis, with good accuracy. The authors are of the opinion that this method of using emotional BPN would save more time than the methods proposed till now which provide the accuracy of this level. Copyright 2010 ACM.
