With the advancement in sensing technology, applications are moving from wired to wireless region. The main challenge is the energy consumption of individual sensing nodes. When first node dies system becomes unstable and we cannot make use of the untapped node's energy. There comes the relevance of TSEP like protocols in such heterogeneous network. Heterogeneous in the sense with respect to node energy the system becomes unstable. This work analyzes the advantages of TSEP like protocols. When we are manufacturing application for predicting the environmental pollution, natural and ecological disasters, all need to be communicated at present. So energy of sensing node places a crucial factor. The primary source of a sensor node is usually a battery and is usually neglected once it is deployed, which creates routing decision problem and scalability issues. In this work, the data acquisition happens by using a temperature sensor application, the proposed work captures data and it is analyzed using stable election protocol by observing the output performance with respect to lifetime of sensing nodes. © 2017 IEEE.
