Abstract:

With the changing lifestyle the eating out habit of an average Indian has become more frequent. In visiting a restaurant, the user generated reviews and ratings of the restaurants act as deciders. The tendency to travel to travel to different places and eat fancy foods at different restaurants has led to higher expectations of facilities provided by restaurants. The present study evaluates the importance of various facilities that a restaurant provides on the overall customer rating of the restaurant. Data is extracted from TripAdvisor for the restaurants in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Results indicate restaurants offering parking and door delivery facilities are seem to have higher customer ratings. © 2018 Academic Press. All rights reserved.
