This paper deals with the design and development of a control strategy for improving the power quality in the grid. The proposed control algorithm aims at eliminating the harmonics, compensation of the reactive power and power factor correction thereby enhancing the performance of system. The overall system is designed, developed, operated in MATLAB-SIMULINK and system performance is validated by simulation results.
