Reconstructive Surgeons Honoured by National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization

On November 27th, 2018, a team of reconstructive surgeons from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi, was honored by the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) at the 9th Indian Organ Donation Day held at New Delhi, for their path-breaking achievement of conducting a ‘Hand Transplant’. 

Fellow of European Board of Nuclear Medicine (FEBNM) Awarded

Dr. Smita Kulkarni, Assistant Professor, Department of Nuclear Medicine, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi, was awarded the prestigious degree of Fellow of European Board of Nuclear Medicine (FEBNM), after successfully clearing the European Nuclear Medicine Fellowship Examination held in October 2018 in Dusseldorf, Germany under the evaluation of European Union of Medical Specialists / European Board of Nuclear Medicine(UEMS/EBNM). 

Amrita Medical Professor Felicitated at 9th Indian Organ Donation Day

Dr. Subramania Iyer K., Head of Department, Head & Neck Surgery and Professor, Head & Neck Surgery, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, felicitated for conducting first hand transplant in the country on the occasion of ‘9th Indian Organ Donation Day’, organised by the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO).  

Amrita Faculty Members Win Prize in 8th International Nursing Conference

Prof. Sreedevi P. A., Professor & Head, Department of Mental Health Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, Health Sciences Campus, Kochi, and Sreejamol M. G., Associate Professor, Department of Mental Health Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, have won second prize in the Scientific Poster Competition in the 8th International Nursing Conference held from October 12-13, 2018, at Akal College of Nursing, Himachal Pradesh.
