Poisonous plants have been the subject of practical lore since ancient times. Their systematic study, in terms of moden science is often considered to have begun during 16 th century. A particular plant acquires poisonous property when it accumulates some special type of chemical substances. However ,when used in regulated doses most of these apparently poisonous plants may also produce beneficial therapeutic effects due to the presence of the same chemical substance. The plants and parts of interest in this study were Aloe vera (leaf peel), Calotropis gigantean(leaf),Cassia fistula(Flower and wax inside the pod), Carica papaya(leaf & young fruit), Neriun oleander(flower, leaf).Crude extract any of these plant materials shows antibacterial activity against this particular multidrug resistant S.aureus.
