• The project aims at design and development of affordable sensor system that could be integrated as an inexpensive patient monitoring systems,  capable of monitoring  multiple vital physiological parameters like BP(Blood Pressure), SpO2(Blood Oxygen) and Blood Glucose and the system is capable of giving proper warning at abnormal values.

  • MICRONet evaluates the technological options to provide an effective and reliable way for the fishermen to communicate amongst themselves and with the shore during emergencies and other times using text/email  messages and/or voice calls.

  • This project is to develop and deploy an integrated real-time landslide monitoring and detection system using emerging wireless sensor network technology. The landslide monitoring and detection system will be used for the prediction of rainfall-induced landslides, in three landslide prone areas in the Himalayas, India.

  • As wireless sensor networks (WSN) are emerging worldwide, the lack of e-learning facilities degrades the availability and usage of WSN applications, mainly in universities. The Remote Triggered Wireless Sensor Network Lab aims in providing an easy, efficient, interactive and user friendly environment to the students, researchers etc., which can trigger their inquisitiveness and give them the equipments and materials needed for the lab experiments which are shared to them in a virtual manner wherein they can conduct the experiments online and observe the outputs as in a real lab through an effective visualisation tool.

  • The project proposes to enhance the technology used, looks to provide a more comprehensive system, and expand the knowledge of landslides and their detection. This project deals with enhancing and deploying integrated landslide monitoring and detection systems using the emerging wireless sensor network technology to predict rainfall induced landslides in landslide-prone areas of India.
