Sustainable Energy Technologies

Objectives

Would work on sustainable options of affordable and clean energy (catering to UNSG 7 and 11) in terms both fundamental and applied research.

Area of Research:

  1. Combustion characterization for alternate fuels like hydrogen, syngas and Ammonia
  2. Combustion equipment design and development for alternate fuel and transition fuels (like addition of alternate fuels to existing fuel usage)
  3. Biomass Pyrolysis to generate liquid and gaseous fuels
  4. Spray characterization for Alternate liquid fuel and design of atomizer for various applications (exp and theory)
  5. Wind turbine design – VAWT and HAWT (small scale)
  6. Microscale combustor design for sustainable power sources for small scale
