Diploma in Dental Mechanics

Diploma in Dental Mechanics is a two - year course after +2. This course is very demanding and remunerative. The curriculum includes diagnosing the dental problems of a patient, designing dental structures and dental accessories for a patient . In general, this professional works behind the scene along with the dentist to give the patients a perfect set of teeth. After the course a Dental Mechanic can work as assistants to dental surgeons for dental surgeries. The basic job revolves around assisting a dentist in making dental ceramics and also being responsible for the establishment of better dental care facilities in a clinic. 

B. D. S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)

Dentistry involves the treatment and prevention of a wide range of diseases of the mouth. The aim and objective of the program is to produce a dentist who is socially acceptable and is able to work safely and effectively on patients in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and oral diseases. 

The professionally accredited degree aims at developing students' clinical skills under close supervision and mentoring of faculty members.

M. D. S. in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics

The M. D. S. in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics is three year Postgraduate program. It is the branch of dentistry which deals with the treatment of caries, malformed, discoloured, nonesthetic, or fractured teeth and endodontics deals with treatment of pulpal and periapical diseases and dental pain management. The curriculum provides training in the prevention and treatment of the disease and injuries of the hard tissues and the pulp of the tooth and associated periodical lesions.

The purpose of the course is to provide advanced education in the subject to highly qualified graduate dentists who are interested in a career of specialized practice, teaching and research.

M. D. S. in Periodontology

The M. D. S. in Periodontology is a three year Postgraduate program. Periodontics is a branch of dentistry hat deals with diseases of the supporting and investing structures of the teeth including the gums, cementum, periodontal membranes and alveolar bone. The curriculum provides students identify the techniques to prevent the occurrence and cure the spread of damage already casued by the infection

The research scholars are given opportunity to learn and research in this criterion to help the society in health care.

M. D. S. in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge

The M. D. S. in Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge is a three year Postgraduate program. This training program is structured to achieve knowledge and skill in theoretical and clinical laboratory, attitude, communicative skills and ability to research with understanding of social, cultural, educational and environmental background of the society. The postgraduates will be able to provide Prosthodontic therapy for patients with competence and working knowledge with understanding of applied medical, behavioral and clinical science.

The M. D. S. in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a three year Postgraduate program. Oral and maxillofacial surgery is one of the specialties of dentistry to treat many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. The objective of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program is to prepare graduates for a successful and productive career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. M. D. S. in Ortho Dontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics

The M. D. S. in Ortho Dontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics is a three year Postgraduate program. Ortho Dontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is the specialty in dentistry that focuses on the alignment of the teeth and the dental arches: the maxilla and the mandible. The practice of this specialty includes diagnosis, prevention, interception, and correction of malocclusion and other abnormalities of the developing or mature orofacial structures.

The M. D. S. in Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry is a three year Postgraduate program.  This is a branch of dentistry which looks after the comprehensive oral health needs of children from birth till adolescence.

M. D. S. in Oral Medicine & Radiology

The M. D. S. in Oral Medicine & Radiology is a three year Postgraduate program. Oral Medicine and Radiology is a specialized branch in dentistry that deals with diseases of oral and surrounding structures, oral manifestation of systemic diseases and oral and dental treatment of medically compromised patients. This course focuses on dealing with patient’s history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, investigations, radiographic examination and medical management of lesions related to oral cavity.

This Program aims to train the students ardently to use basic diagnostic procedures and techniques useful in recognizing the disease of the oral and paraoral tissues of local and constitutional origin and their medical management.

M. D. S. in Oral Pathology & Microbiology

The M. D. S. in Oral Pathology & Microbiology is a three year Postgraduate program. It is the specialty of dentistry that deals with the nature, characteristics, cause, effects and diagnosis of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions and study of the immune system, which facilitates appropriate treatment of the same. The Postgraduate students are trained to attain competence in dealing with the nature of oral diseases, their causes and effects. They perform routine histopathological evaluations of specimens and also carry out routine diagnostic procedures including cytological, microbiological, other investigations and research projects.

This curriculum is designed so as to enable not only academic and clinical proficiency, but also potentiate the intellectual, rational and social ability of the student, resulting in Oral Pathologists who will excel in patient care.
