• Nowadays, we see large variety of applications of robotic instruments, oriented to influence human living. Robots in nearly every domain, are helpful to lead a very comfortable life. Humans struck by partial paralysis undergo great difficulty to carry out daily activities. Nevertheless, after rigorous therapy, their motor controls can be regained if the severity levels of the stroke are not quite high.

  • Current product recommender systems only allow users to select from off the shelf products. However if they wish to mix and match components to create customized products, current recommendation systems do not support that.

  • Image enhancement can be achieve better performance by using partial differential equation (i.e.) Perona-Malik model and Heat equation than using different conventional filters. However traditional Perona-Malik model gives some artifacts and introduce staircase effect on the resultant image. The proposed method variation of Perona-Malik Model introduces edge indicator as they preserve the edges and smoothens the image.

Distraction occurs when a driver is delayed in the recognition of information needed to safely accomplish the driving task.

  • Modelling the changing behavior of a user is done by defining a user context for personalized ser­vices. Though many parameters have been identi­fied to sense the context of a user automatically by a mobile device, identifying the right semantic context is still a challenge. Towards better defining user context for context aware mobile applications, this work pro­poses models for smarter context detection, a multi­dimensional evolutionary ontology, dynamic user pro­file generation, and a mapping of context and user preferences using a regression model.

  • The main aim of the work is to analyse, characterize and validate the parameters involved in the system models of the SWIPT enabled Energy Harvesting Wireless Networks. The parameter under this study involves average Energy Harvested, average downlink rate, sensor control signal and Interference.The system model with Fusion Centre and sensors are analysed and respective problem is formulated using BLUE estimation technique.

  • The autonomous floor cleaning robot is designed to sweep and collect the dust and mop the room as well. The sweeping of the floor and collecting the dust happens one after the other followed by mopping the room. The intelligent mechanism added to the robot can identify and avoid obstacles while cleaning the robot. The autonomous algorithm, which is part of the design, takes care of operating the robot autonomously inside the room.

  • A variety of traditional occupations exist in rural communities and residents depend on those occupations to earn a living. However, with more awareness about market segments, pricing, and updated methods, some occupations can become more lucrative, leading to a better standard of living for villagers. This particular project focuses on working with women from the village's Self Help Groups (SHGs) to help increase their earning capacity.
