  • Computationally intensive applications are very diverse. As a consequence, the next generation computing architectures are expected to be heterogeneous---comprising variable granularity computing blocks with varied communication mechanisms. Capturing this heterogeneity across applications is an area of research that has a profound impact in the definition of its architectural features.

  • Today’s computing systems are heterogeneous, with diverse microarchitectures. It is common to design systems comprising multi-core CPUs, Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Each of these devices have proven to be advantageous for accelerating diverset complex computational problems.

  • A simple low cost microcontroller based area monitoring system using wireless technology which fetches weather and traffic conditions using various sensors like temperature, humidity etc., display it on LCD and forward it to the remote user hosting it on a web server which is available for everyone.

  • The project titled "Hardware Trojan Detection & Consistency based Diagnosis" is funded by DRDO (SAG). Dr. Nirmala Devi M., Dr. M. Jayakumar, Mr. N. Mohan Kumar, Dr. Sethumadhavan are the investigators of the project.

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is an inevitable part in atmosphere for the existence of life on the Earth. But if increased beyond a certain limit it is harmful as it is the major cause for global warming. The only effective way to fight this is to store CO2 away from the atmosphere for a long time. This is achieved by using Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS). But one major concern that arises when CO2 is stored in large quantities is it’s leakage from reservoir.
