Doctor of Medicine in Pathology is a three-year postgraduation course. Pathology is the precise study and diagnosis of disease. Pathology is the only discipline that can be classified as both a basic and clinical science. The curriculum provides an indispensable bridge between the basic science and the clinical relevance and application of this information.  The course includes comprehensive training in many areas of both the basic and clinical sciences as they relate to pathologic mechanisms. The candidates with a MBBS degree from a recognized institute, who have registered permanently with MedicalCouncil of India or any other State Medical Councils, are eligible for this course.

After the course, the students acquired the competence pertaining to basic instrumentation and procedures required for the practice of Pathology in the community and at all levels of health care system. 

Doctor of Medicine in Microbiology is a three-year postgraduation course. The aim of this course is to train the students of Medicine in the field of Medical Microbiology. Knowledge and practical skills shall be acquired by the candidates in the sub-specialties of Bacteriology including Mycobacteriology, Virology, Parasitology, Immunology and Mycology so as to be able to deal with diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases in the community. They are trained in basic research methodology so that they are able to conduct fundamental and applied research. They are also trained in teaching methods so that they can take up teaching assignments. 

After successful completion of the course, one can opt to work as a specialist and Medical teacher.

Doctor of Medicine in Anatomy is a three-year postgraduation course.  Anatomy is the specialized branch of medicine that deals with the structure of the human body. Subjects studied under this degree are Gross and Regional Anatomy, Osteology, Arthropology, Myology, Systemic Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Applied and Clinical Anatomy, General & Systemic Embryology, Comparative Embryology, Principles of Genetics, General Histology, Histology of Organs & Structure, Staining Techniques, Outline of Evolution, Comparative Anatomy, Physical Anthropology, Radiological Anatomy, Surface Anatomy, Surface marking of Human Body. Any candidate who has passed the MBBS degree from a recognized University thereto by Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council is eligible for the course.

After successful completion of the course, one can opt to work in a public medical institution or in a private hospital.

Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry explores the major psychiatric syndromes like psychotic, mood and anxiety disorders, psychological effects of physical diseases, the doctor-patient relationship, human development, patient interviewing, and ethical issues in medicine. It is a three-year postgraduation course and can be pursued by any MBBS holders from a University recognized by Medical council of India. Most psychiatrists practice general psychiatry. Sub-specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Geriatric psychiatry can be conducted after M. D. in Psychiatry.

The psychiatrists who have completed the course can join any government/private hospital and they can even visit various schools, colleges, industries, prisons as counselors.
